Songbirds: An Evening of Live Music at The Yoga Church

Austin Songbirds was formed in early 2020, during the height of the Corona virus pandemic. Their first performance was at the New World Deli in June of 2020 playing to a small masked audience. Since then, they have performed there on the fourth Friday of every month.

Songbirds are Kevan Drake and Jill Montgomery on vocals, Steve Haskin on classical guitar, A.J. Montrose on percussion, and Alex Coke on flute and sax. Additional featured musicians include Sarah Jane Hargis on flute, Paul Roque on trumpet, and Tony Bray on soprano sax,

Songbirds performs songs of the great American jazz songwriters, the songs of Bossa Nova era, and contemporary popular songs.
