PeriMenopause and Menopause are a sacred time in a woman’s life that is rarely discussed in media, culture, in families, or even amongst women themselves. Many women are embarrassed or ashamed of the powerful emotions that accompany these big hormonal transitions.

PeriMenopause and Menopause are as natural to a woman as childbirth and they should be celebrated and rejoiced accordingly. Whether you are PeriMenopausal, Menopausal, PostMenopausal or just plain curious, please join Marnie in an informative four part series for women in need of support, understanding and relief during these often confusing and challenging times.

We will discuss the hormonal changes in the body and the emotional changes as we perhaps mourn for the loss of our childbearing years. Through breathing practices and mindfulness techniques we will learn how to regulate our nervous system in times of powerful emotions and we will practice asana that supports the body during these unsettling and sometimes aggravating times. We will create ritual and we will rejoice in one another’s company. We will laugh and we will cry as we learn to honor and celebrate the magnificence and beauty of our bodies.
