Seasonal Yin + Nutrition Series
with Brandi Jo
This class will combine the somatic art of tuning the organs and body parts associated with Autumn. The practice will include long held yin positions (3-5 mins of deep stretch along meridians) + warm herbal tea. The last 15 minutes of class we will speak about the sequence and the single herb used in the tea and why it is beneficial this time of year. Each class there will be a different herb and we will cover different nutritional theme + the yin sequence will change. Making all 4 classes is ideal to benefit from making this a seasonal practice and integrating this into your yoga off the mat. Be prepared to learn a lot about yourself, tune in and listen to your needs. This series may likely boost the immune system and balance overall health.
Brandi Jo Perkins is a Yoga Instructor and Clinical Herbalist. She teaches yin regularly and offers holistic herbal consultations.
