Rattletree – Child’s Play

Rattletree, voted Austin Chronicle’s Best World Music Band, returns with Child’s Play this year, an all-ages live music, festival-style weekend of glow parties on September 22 & 23.

Rattletree is an interactive, energetic live music experience featuring magnificent marimbas triggering driving synth sounds, bursts of color, and dynamic live video projection. It’s FUN for the WHOLE FAMILY!

Child’s Play celebrates lessons from Austin’s children about how adults can experience more JOY and connection by putting down our devices and taking time to PLAY! Think cartwheels, banana tag, and making new friends at every opportunity. Open your heart, get off your screen, and embrace your life & your community.

Friday evening includes a Yoga Dance Party hosted by Practice Yoga Austin and Saturday night Solomon Masala will lead a heart pounding Community Drum Circle sponsored by X8 Drums. Cazamance will be selling healthy, delicious treats both nights.

FACILITATED COMMUNITY DRUM CIRCLE by X8 (Saturday)
9-10 PM – LATE SHOW

The 4 shows will take place at the Rattletree School of Marimba (2401 Thornton Rd. Unit 3, Austin, TX 78704), located in the heart of South Austin. Everyone is invited to celebrate human connection through this interactive, high-energy, family-friendly dance party.
