Keep it Cool

An interactive experiential class about how to enjoy summer in a 100 ++ southern climate, using herbs, nutrition, and asana. What is happening in the body can be balanced: key points cover how to regulate temperature, energy levels, rising tempers, lethargy, and hydration. This class will help you understand the fundamentals of adapting easily with the season. We will incorporate a few somatic awareness meditations with herbs to better understand how to listen to what our body needs.
Brandi Jo Perkins is a clinical herbalist and yoga instructor. She was born and raised in Texas and knows very well the methods of chilling out in sweltering heat, keeping cool and calm, and living with the seasons. She will include some of her favorite personal recipes and lifestyles that make summer so sweet. She encourages you to bring your questions and intentions.
