Bios:
Fadi and Stephanie began teaching together in 2014. Little did they know that their obsession with L-basing and dance lifts would lead to an enduring teacher partnership balancing in-depth acro knowledge with a passion for play.
Fadi has always been fascinated by disciplines involving balance, form, and strength. When he stumbled upon Acro, he was instantly drawn in. It seemed someone had read his mind and incorporated everything he likes in one super fun discipline. With a background in gymnastics and yoga, Fadi used those skills to grow as an acroyogi and to share his knowledge with others who are passionate about Acro. He finds the play and fun aspect of it extremely rewarding while other similar disciplines tend to be more competitive.
Fadi focuses in his practice on the fine details and is known for being meticulous about everything. He completed AcroRevolution teacher training in 2015 and is author to numerous washing machines available on Acropedia.org.
As a child, Stephanie earned a reputation as a veritable Houdini. Her innate climbing skills allowed her scale walls and fences, escaping to roam about the neighborhood much to her parents chagrin. A broken hip sidelined her swim/bike/run obsession and led her to yoga teacher training with Gioconda in 2011. While in that training, a visit to the park on a sunny spring day changed the course of her life – she witnessed partner acrobatics for the first time. She was instantly drawn in by the trust and strength shared in partnership.
Stephanie’s began teaching acro in 2012, completing both AcroRevolution and Lux teacher trainings. Always the learner, she’s just completed her aerial hoop teaching certification via Spin City and is pursuing her 500RYT.
