Connecting Yoga, Music, and Mental Health

Clear the path for grounding and inner peace with Geannie Friedman, Joey Reyes, Claire Hamilton, & Travis Weller

A grounding, Restorative practice to center us back to ourselves, clear the path for stillness, and make space for inviting in ease as we enter Spring. Geannie Friedman will guide us through a 90-minute Restorative practice with lots of props on the earth;, as Thor Harris, Claire Hamilton, Joey Reyes, and Travis Weller will play scenic ambient music to awaken the senses, and bring about a sense of ease and peace to the mind and body. Join us and bring a sense of ease, grounding, renewal, and restoration as we set our intentions.

Geannie has her MSW, and is 500 hour RYT Trauma-Informed certified. She is passionate about the benefits that yoga and music has on the nervous system, and is excited to share a grounding, Restorative practice. Thor, Claire, Joey, and Travis are in Thor and Friends, and they are all passionate about mental health, and how music and yoga helps to aid in balancing the nervous system. You will leave feeling refreshed, renewed, grounded, and restored. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the SIMS Foundation, a great non profit organization that provides mental health and recovery services for musicians, bands, people working in the music industry, and their families in Austin, TX.
