Ashtanga Yoga is cleansing and strengthening practice of moving meditation paired with breathing. While this practice is adjustable and modifiable to all types of bodies and levels, it often gets misunderstood as an intimidating and challenging practice. The truth is, anyone can start this practice, and let the practice fit you! In this 90 minute workshop, Reiko who has been practicing and teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for 10+ years, will guide you through the primary sequence of Ashtanga Yoga series, focusing on standing, seated, and twisting, as well as in backbends, for new-to-Ashtanga yogis.

Following this workshop, we will kick off a new class series, ‘Ashtanga and Beyond’ classes on Sunday mornings, so you can continue to practice and explore the power of Ashtanga practice.
