OUR RAVE REVIEWS

I am forever enlightened by my beautiful teachers at Practice Yoga Austin’s 300-hour teacher training. For nine months we met every other weekend spending countless hours discussing yoga on and off the mat. We explored asanas from many different perspectives. We talked of History, Anatomy, Sutras, Ethics, Sequencing, Trauma, Cultural Appropriation, Cultural Awareness, Inclusion, Colonization, Decolonization, Lineage, Bhagavad Gita, Community, Neuroscience of yoga, Ayurveda, Yin Yoga, Chakras, Social Activism, Transpersonal Psychology, Teaching to specialized populations, Props & Modifications, Advanced Asanas, Lines of Energy, Seasonal Sequencing, Teaching Skills, Gods & Goddesses, and Mindfulness. We learned how to integrate it into our own lives as students, teachers, and participants of human life.
The Sangha they created opened our understanding of yoga, community, and helped push the limits of our own consciousness. I am forever grateful and honored to have shared in this life-changing experience that continues to enrich all the lives it's touched. Each teacher poured their heart and mind into every moment. The sacred space of true education that was created became a living breathing entity that enabled everyone to expand, absorb, and reconnect to wholeness. I would highly recommend Practice Yoga’s 300-hour yoga teacher training to anyone interested in yoga.

Practice Yoga Austin’s Teacher Training program is unlike any other. It’s more than just a training to learn to become a teacher. I found that by diving into my studies with these knowledgeable teachers, I ended up finding myself. I was able to find my light, my strengths, my weakness and how I could become a more balanced human so I can hold space for myself, and my students. The way this program is developed, takes the student on a journey, slowing adding in valuable tools and skills to grow from in a way that can be comprehended and land in the heart. Whether you just want to deepen your practice and learn more about yourself—or if you want to become a strong, well-informed teacher with a strong backbone of knowledge, Practice Yoga Austin is an experience I highly recommend! I did my 200 Hour Training with them and immediately went right into the 300 Hour because I loved it so much! Hands down, without a doubt, best decision of my life! Your soul will thank you— Enjoy the Journey!

I completed my 200-hour certification with Practice and after about 6 months I was back at Practice for the 300-hour certification. If that’s not an indication of their commitment to quality and community, I don’t know what is. My 300-hour at Practice was really about finding my voice and deepening my sense of authority as a yogi and teacher. I was able to work closely with seasoned teachers to explore and overcome any blocks and grow my knowledge base to better serve myself and my students. Two thumbs way up for this program!
