Yoga for Resiliency

We come to our mats to train in resiliency because we are all recovering from something. Whether it be physical injuries, addiction, abuse, trauma or anything else, it’s common to lose hope, feel isolated + find it hard to cope when difficulties arise. Yoga helps us to sit with our messy stuff, the underlying uncomfortable feelings + become more curious than afraid. Together, we will learn how the tools of yoga can help soothe anxious energy + replace unhealthy coping skills that no longer serve their purpose. We’ll explore practices to help sharpen our lens through which we observe habits of our mind, regulate our nervous system + understand what it means to be embodied.
