As we enter the long haul of COVID many of us are navigating our way through stress, grief and perhaps some existential dread that our new circumstances have brought. The world is in a state of upheaval, our victory gardens are dying, we couldn’t possibly bake any more bread and we miss hugs. It’s hard to hold the song of hope amidst uncertainty, but we are finding small ways to sing anyway.

We don’t have the answers, but we offer an opportunity to lay all of this down and rest. This virtual practice will be offered by Zoom and can be taken from the comfort of your home. We will offer a three hour practice with long held and supportive yin poses, followed by deep relaxation/yoga nidra.

Yin Yoga is an optimal practice for laying down the held tension of anxiety and stress in our bodies and allowing the flow of life to move through. Yin Yoga can help reset tension patterns in the breath and restore vitality to undernourished tissues. We will also offer some tools you can carry with you to prevent the accumulation of stress that leads to anxiety.

We are offering a sliding scale for this workshop. You can also gift this workshop to someone else who would benefit from it.

This virtual workshop will be hosted by Zoom and will count towards CEUs for yoga teachers as well as toward our Practice Yoga 300-hour program.
