A 20-hour Yin + Restorative Training focusing on finding balance in the fall season.
Autumn marks the transition between summer and winter, and corresponds to the metal element. When this energy is in balance, we are able to release the activity of summer, reflect, and go inwards to rest for winter.

Theme: Letting Go and Letting In
Philosophy: Prana Vayus, The Movement of the Yogic Energies
Anatomy: Respiratory System and Fascia
Skill/Inquiry: Letting go of limiting beliefs, stress patterns, old habits and behaviors
Pranayama: Nadi Shodhana, Viloma 1 and 2
Meridian/Organ: Lungs and Large Intestines

This training covers the foundations of Yin Yoga – from its history, to the energetics of Qi, and guiding principles on how to practice. Specific attention will be given to the fall season and nourishing the lungs and large intestines in order to assist the natural inclination towards elimination and purification of the physical body, as well as the emotional body to process feelings of grief, stubbornness, or resistance to change that can arise during this time of year.

This training also covers Restorative Yoga, with a focus on the difference between Yin + Restorative Yoga, methodology of practice, prop management and the meditative qualities we experience within these Wisdom Practices.

Hybrid Training: You have the choice of taking this in-person or on Zoom.
