Connecting to Still with Iva Drtina-Hall

This 2 hour workshop will focus on Yin Yoga – also known as the Quiet + Meditative practice. It is a journey of connection. Connecting to the stillness within. Yin Yoga embodies the essence of Being and yielding, while Yang Yoga embodies the essence of Doing. Yin accepts the world for the way it is, while Yang is about changing the world, neither is better than the other. These two styles of Yoga complement each other and ultimately this workshop will provide a deeper and well rounded understanding of how to practice Yin Yoga; learning how not to struggle and just allow things to unfold.

The most important part of the whole yoga process, is how it relates to your life. Namely, how to be more healthy, have a balanced physical, mental and emotional state of being and how it has an effect on the perceptions of one’s spiritual growth.

All these combine to modify lifestyles to achieve an intelligent state of being.By nourishing a Yin attitude of compassionate acceptance, we allow the wisdom of our bodies to be heard.
