Beyond the Veil: A Sound Healing Meditation

Dear Ones,

This is one of my favorite times of year— Samhain or Halloween, moving into Dia de Los Muertos. Historically it has been experienced as a time when the veil between the spirit realm and the physical plane is the thinnest, almost non-existent. It is an opportunity to connect deeper into our own spiritual nature and inner wisdom, as well as commune and communicate with our ancestors, guides and guardians. To offer our gratitude and respects to those who came before us and to glean any wisdom that they wish to impart, to use as we move forward in becoming who we were meant to be on this Earth—as one day we will be the ancestors that the younger generations look to.

As we enter this change in seasons, we see what in nature begins to fall away; dies in order to be reborn in the spring. As we are also ephemeral as nature, changing with the seasons, it is a powerful time to reflect on anything in our lives that may need to fall away and release, in order to make room for new energy to spring forth.

Every day we are given an opportunity to let our old Self die– any aspect of Self that is not in the highest alignment. With the help of our loved ones and ancestors, we will deactivate all that does not serve, and activate and ground wisdom and healing so to integrate our highest Self.

We will be setting an altar space for our loved ones and ancestors. In doing so, we give honor to them and also call forth any healing that needs to happen on a genetic level, anything we may be holding on behalf of our families and loved ones.

We release for ourselves and for future generations any pattern, belief, old system, anything that does not serve that may be held within our DNA. Giving gratitude for its lessons, but offering it up for transmutation by the Earth, and in turn call in the wisdom, the prayers, the blessings that are also present, seeded within our hearts and souls.

I look forward to sharing this space with you, as we honor the dead, and honor the tremendous gift it is to be alive.

Otherwise there is a designated parking area across from Juiceland on S. 1st (where New Brohemia and End of an Ear used to be).  Please park on the south end of the lot,
