Adaptability is the holy grail of human survival, but how do we adapt to rapidly changing circumstances that can leave us feeling unsteady and uncertain about how to proceed forward? We learn to be with what is. Present moment awareness is not only a learnable skill, but also our essential way of being as human animals.
The slower pacing of a mindful yin yoga practice offers us the opportunity to practice being present to what is. We practice to strengthen our “muscle” of attention and to fine tune our ability to listen to our body’s messages – physical, mental and energetic. We practice to remember our true nature and to tap into the stillness that is always present, even within the center of the most turbulent storm.
We invite you to come as you are for this extended yin yoga practice as we individually and collectively welcome what is with compassion and curiosity.
