Ayurveda 101 – An Intro to Ayurveda and its Principles for Self Care

Have you ever wondered why you are drawn to certain kinds of yoga? Or why you feel your best in certain climates? Or why that supposedly miraculous new diet makes you feel insane? Have you pondered about why you deal with stress and challenge in ways that are vastly different than your partners and your family?

Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga, has an answer for you. Ayurveda is rooted in the idea that we all come into the world with different innate constitutions which shape everything about us. We can use this information to better understand ourselves, but also to learn how to better guide our own lifestyle toward balance.

Please join me and Practice Yoga for an introduction to Ayurveda. You will learn about the 3 basic constitutions or doshas and learn how to approach your life, your health and your yoga practice in a way that is uniquely suited for your own dosha.

This workshop is great for teachers wanting to learn how to better serve their students needs, but also for individual practitioners wanting to dive deeper into self-care that is uniquely suited for them.
