200 Hour Teacher Training (Thursday Track)

Note: This training will be offered as a hybrid program. 

A virtual, interactive group will be hosted through zoom throughout the full training, and students who would like to join in-person will be able to do so when possible.

What are the benefits of the Thursday Track?

The long format weeknight track is geared to those who have a busy schedule with full-time jobs, children, social engagements, etc. It also allows for the slow absorption of knowledge; one has the luxury of time to savor all the new information (and there is A LOT of information.)

What are the benefits of Teacher Training in General?

At the end of the Teacher Training, you will be recognized as a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher. You can begin teaching public or private classes. Even if you don’t want to teach yoga, you will deepen your yoga practice and get a greater understanding of what the science and art of yoga is. Teacher training is a deeply satisfying experience; you grow and you learn a lot about YOURSELF. It is a gift that you not only give to yourself but also share with other people. The study of yoga is a lifelong journey. It doesn’t expire.

PROGRAM FORMAT (COVID UPDATE)

This training will be offered as a hybrid program. A virtual, interactive group will be hosted through zoom throughout the full training, and students who would like to join in person will have the option to do so.

Program attendance policy

Under the guidelines of our governing board, The Yoga Alliance, students in a 200-hour training may miss up to 20 hours without it affecting his or her completion certificate. That ends up being 5 Thursdays or about one of our weekend intensives. When you miss a class, you will be required to get the notes from a buddy (or watch the recording if available) and submit a written summary of the information missed.

How much is it?

Total Investment $2,950 (includes $300 deposit)

Save $300 each when you sign up with a buddy ($2,650 each)

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

You'll have two options:

  • You may choose to pay the balance due of your tuition in full before the start of training.
  • If you do not pay in full before the start of training, you will be enrolled in a monthly payment plan July-January.
