In this introduction to back bends we will start from the beginning. We will open the body using all the component parts of back bends , and work toward pushing up into Urdhva Dhanurasana, also known as full wheel. Make peace with or begin your backbend practice safely and intelligently. This workshop will deepen your understanding of what is needed from our body to actually achieve a back bend. If you are new to back bends, struggle with them or are a teacher looking to help your students with their back bends, this workshop is for you!
